Actress Choo So-Young is slated to return to the drama scene with horror miniseries “Hometown Legends” after her last work “Pure 19” two years ago.
Choo So Young will be playing in the episode “Messenger’s Story” scheduled to broadcast on the 27th of August after “Gisaeng House Ghost Story”. The director in charge of filming this episode, Kim Yong Soo, revealed the background details yesterday. “Choo So Young is very keen on playing this episode and the production company is too very satisfied with her. Hence they have decided to select her as the lead for ‘Messenger’s story’,” he said.
In the drama, Choo So Young will be playing as the character Cho Sun, who oversees a large casino chain. The director also added that “Messenger’s Story” will be a sensational and unexpected ghost story. Filming will start this week at various locations which include Korean Folk Village and areas at the south mountains.
