Finally, the next round of drama war is going to kickoff soon enough with the press conference of the long awaited megaproduction “East of Eden” held today, 21st of August, at an outdoor area in Gyeongsang province. This is just a two days difference with the press conference of rival KBS “Love Marriage” which will debut on the same day as “East of Eden”. A star gathering production which casts top stars like Song Seung Hun, Yun Jung Hoon, Park Hae Jin, Lee Da Hae, Lee Yeon Hee and Han Ji Hye, “East of Eden” is bound to treat the viewers to an exciting clash of acting skills for the second half of the year.
“East of Eden” boasts a production budget of 25billion won with many scenes taken in the overseas such as Hong Kong, Macau and Japan. The timeline of the drama starts in the 1960s, which talks about the different fate of two men who were born at the same time at same place. The story will end in the year 2000.
“East of Eden” will begin with a special episode introducing the characters in the drama on the 25th of August followed by two episodes on the 26th. As the first four episode will be mainly focusing on childhood scenes, viewers will only get to see the stars beginning from the third week. But there will be enough to see as this is a lengthy 50-episode drama with high possibility of extending till 60 or even 70 episodes if the ratings are high.
